Lake Shore Cryotronics is pleased to announce the appointment of Marshall Calhoun as its new Regional Sales Manager covering sales in the eastern half of the U.S.
“With Marshall’s addition to our team, Lake Shore is even more prepared to advise customers on how to choose a product that meets their application requirements and enables them to advance their science,” said Brad Dodrill, Vice President of Sales at Lake Shore.
Mr. Calhoun comes to Lake Shore from a leading U.S. supplier of cryogenic products and systems, where he spent five years advising North American universities and government labs on cryogenic solutions.
“Given his technical client-service background, he’s well aware of everyday challenges faced by the scientific community and can provide the level of expertise that our customers demand,” Dodrill said. “What’s more, as our day-to-day liaison between Lake Shore and researchers in the field, Marshall will be a key player in our efforts to continually understand what new products we should develop to meet their future needs.”
Mr. Calhoun has a B.S. degree in physics with a minor in mathematics from Penn State University. His addition helps to reinforce Lake Shore’s reputation as a company run by scientists for the benefit of scientists working in many fields. In fact, half of Lake Shore’s employees hold a technical degree in physics, engineering or material science.
